We offer a professional quality recording service for all bands and artists performing LIVE.

Recording your LIVE performance has great advantages over a studio recording. The unique performance of a LIVE show and crowd atmosphere is a one-off experience that can be captured by a professional LIVE recording.

It is also an excellent way for an artist or band to use the recording for reference to improve their LIVE performance, to objectively study the recording and crowd reaction, what may have sounded great on stage, can often be heard differently from a revealing LIVE recording.

Live recordings are now often used as a ‘free’ online marketing tool using websites, or music sharing sites such as ‘myspace’ for example to help promote a band or artist. These free sharing sites can also be used to promote full quality studio recordings. All these advances will enable you to capture the excitement of your live performance, without sacrificing the sound quality of the recording.

The show will be recorded digitally on HDR, linked to the FOH console via a balanced 24-way Mogami/Switchcraft loom.

Recordings can be anything from 2 to 24 tracks as required.

The individual audio files and/or final mix can then be transferred onto CD/DVD in WAV format and posted to you or left at the venue for collection.

* Disk will contain multiple individual audio files and/or a completed stereo mix, as required.

For LIVE sound recordings, we use the Alesis adat HD24 24 track Hard Disk recorder and/or the Zoom H4N portable recorder, which records audio to SD card.
